A zoot suit is a man's suit with wide-legged, tight-cuffed, or "pegged," trousers; a long coat with wide lapels, and wide, padded shoulders.
Zoot suits first gained popularity in Harlem jazz culture in the late 1930s. The word "zoot" probably comes from the French word zut (meaning "damn!"). They were extremely popular with African-American youth and also with young Latinos, most particularly in the Los Angeles Chicano community. In March of 1942, the War Production Board banned zoot suit production, because it deemed the style wasteful of valuable suiting material during wartime. But the fashion persisted, despite restrictions placed on the amount of fabric in the production of garments.
The young men who wore these suits were accompanied by girls dressed all in black. They were called the black widows.

After Elvis had given his final encore and left the stage, the crowd headed for the exits, even though many other acts were still waiting to perform. Horace Lee Logan, founder and longtime producer of Louisiana Hayride, the country-music radio show, took the microphone and pleaded with Elvis's fans to return to their seats: "Please, young people . . . Meaning:

Source

According to the story of Noah's Ark in Genesis, several generations after mankind left Eden, they had become corrupt, full of violence and theft. God came to regret having made them and God decided to bring a flood to wipe out the violence. God found only one just man on the Earth, Noah. So God told Noah to build an ark of particular size and design, and to bring his wife, his three sons and their wives, as well as animals and birds into the ark, with all necessary food and seedlings so mankind and the earth could begin again with a clean slate. Then God sent the flood. When the earth was dry again God instructed Noah to leave the ark.
After the flood, God swore to himself to never again wreak his vengeance on the Earth as a whole, since man is born with an evil inclination from youth and God commits himself to maintaining the rules of nature. God gave Noah this covenant, whereby people were given dominance over all animals and were now permitted to eat meat for the first time but not with its life still in it, and instructed to spread over the earth. God used the rainbow in the clouds to seal and remind future generations of this everlasting covenant.

The storm surge from Katrina caused catastrophic damage along the coastlines of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. Levees separating Lake Pontchartrain from New Orleans were breached by the surge, ultimately flooding about 80% of the city. Wind damage was reported well inland, impeding relief efforts. Katrina is estimated to be responsible for $75 billion in damages, making it the costliest hurricane in United States history; the storm has killed 1,417 people, becoming the deadliest U.S. hurricane since the 1928 Okeechobee Hurricane.

Billie: Wow. These are so Greta Garbo. Hey, now there's a woman that didn't need a man to make her feel complete.

Meaning:
Greta Garbo (September 18, 1905 - April 15, 1990) was a Swedish actress.
Having achieved enormous success as a silent movie star, she was one of the few who made the transition to talkies. She delayed as long as possible, and the studio worried endlessly about whether the world was ready for a talking Swedish Sphinx. Her low, husky voice with Swedish accent was heard on screen for the first time in Eugene O'Neill's Anna Christie (1930), which was publicized with the slogan "Garbo Talks." The movie was a huge
success, but Garbo personally hated her performance.

Greta Garbo was considered one of the most glamorous movie stars of the 1920s and 1930s. She was also famous for shunning publicity, which became part of the Garbo mystique.
Garbo lived the last years of her life in absolute seclusion. She had invested very wisely, was known for extreme frugality, and was a very wealthy woman.

She died at age 84 as a result of renal failure in New York and was cremated.
